University-
Level Program leading to a U.S. Bachelor's Degree
Complete
the first two years of a U.S. BACHELOR's DEGREE in Singapore!
In order to graduate with a
bachelor's degree in the States, you generally spend four
years of studies in a college or university ("College"
and "University" are used interchangeably).
Regardless of the University you go to, or the major you
pursue, the first two years of studies are typically the same
general education classes in which students choose from a wide
variety of courses. Broward Community College's Diploma
program offered through the American College gives students an option to complete their general education
classes in Singapore and then transfer to the U.S. for
the third and fourth year of the bachelor's degree.
- Student-centered
curriculum integrates inquiry-based learning, reflective
thinking and problem solving.
- Focus is on learning and
applying knowledge to "real world" situations in
a global world.
- Fully taught by highly
qualified western-trained faculty (all have master's or
doctorate degrees) in Singapore.
- Credits transferable to
universities in U.S. & Canada such as Columbia
University, University of Michigan, University of San
Francisco & University of Windsor.
- Academic advisors to
assist you with application and transfer to U.S.
- Diverse student body from
countries such as U.S., Switzerland, France,
Britain, Japan, Korea & Indonesia.
- Overall lower tuition
& living costs compared to studying in U.S.
